Terms of use

This calendar is intended to promote events and parties that take place in New York City and are aimed at the Burning Man and other underground communities here.

  • It's a free service, anyone can use it and anyone can post an event.
  • Advertising, spam and purely commercial events are not welcome.
  • Educational events such as classes and courses in anything creative very much are.
  • The owner of this calendar reserves the right to include or remove anything at his sole discretion.

Specifically I will remove anything at my discretion that I deem to be offensive whether it be to a person or to a group. Anything that appears to be prejudice or discrimination, anything that incites hostility or a inspires posts and counter posts that could be considered hostile. Deleting a page does not constitute censorship but merely my desire to keep the site clean of unduly negative or wasteful posting so that it remains efficient for the purpose for which it was intended—the dissemination of information.

My deleting or not deleting a page does not constitute my agreement or disagreement with anything posted on it unless expressly stated by myself. Some activties posted here may be of questionable legality. I consider that in a free and open society at times the boundaries of legality will be tested. By allowing an event to be listed here I do not condone illegal activity. Participating or not participating is a matter of personal conscience. As most freedoms are hard won I feel it is healthy to participate in a spirited and public debate about what should be considered legal and at this time of diminishing freedoms I applaud those who take a personal risk to broaden the realm of what all of us are allowed to do, especially in the cultural arena.
